They stopped the visit claiming it was because of Covid, but really it is so that my family does not see the injuries.<br \/>\nI heard him (Ahmed Elwakil and another) saying \u201clet me beat this s.o.b.\u201d so they let him \u201cbut finish before he comes\u201d. The chief prisons\u2019 intelligence officer was on his way. Now, I have injuries on my wrists knees, leg, face, forehead and sides (lacerations and bruises). Everyone was complicit with incidents of violence and previous assaults, so now it amounted to torture, in the middle of prison, in the middle of daylight.<br \/>\nAhmed Samir had difficulty breathing because of the chlorine they sprayed in the ward. His cell was closed (2 m x2.5 m). They refused to open the door so that they could take him to hospital. He continued to feel breathless and got a panic attack. We kept screaming and banging at the door (Hesham Geneina, Hesham Fuad, Omar Mohamed and I) and for half an hour they would not come for him. Omar and I ran to the office of the prison governor asking him to save Ahmed and open the cell. He replied very coldly \u201cRelax Doma, chlorine does not kill\u2026 I was in the hospital and they sprayed it every day and I did not die\u201d I left and went back to Ahmed. Officers and prison personnel had gathered because of the screaming and banging. They finally opened the cell. He was in a bad state. He was crying accusing them of killing him, especially head of intelligence officer Ahmed Zein (because they had said that he had ordered not to open the cell). Samir told him: you are a criminal, decadent and you are killing me. Instead of taking him to hospital they were holding him and preventing him from going through the gate of the ward. The deputy governor said: he will not walk out without a t-shirt. He had gone breathless and developed the panic attack while not wearing his t-shirt. They stopped the visit claiming it was because of Covid, but really it is so that my family does not see the injuries. I heard him (Ahmed Elwakil and another) saying \u201clet me beat this s.o.b.\u201d so they let him \u201cbut finish before he comes\u201d. The chief prisons\u2019 intelligence officer was on his way. Now, I have injuries on my wrists knees, leg, face, forehead and sides (lacerations and bruises). Everyone was complicit with incidents of violence and previous assaults, so now it amounted to torture, in the middle of prison, in the middle of daylight. Ahmed Samir had difficulty breathing because of the chlorine they sprayed in the ward. His cell was closed (2 m x2.5 m). They refused to open the door so that they could take him to hospital. He continued to feel breathless and got a panic attack. We kept screaming and banging at the door (Hesham Geneina, Hesham Fuad, Omar Mohamed and I) and for half an hour they would not come for him. Omar and I ran to the office of the prison governor asking him to save Ahmed and open the cell. He replied very coldly \u201cRelax Doma, chlorine does not kill\u2026 I was in the hospital and they sprayed it every day and I did not die\u201d I left and went back to Ahmed. Officers and prison personnel had gathered because of the screaming and banging. They finally opened the cell. He was in a bad state. He was crying accusing them of killing him, especially head of intelligence officer Ahmed Zein (because they had said that he had ordered not to open the cell). Samir told him: you are a criminal, decadent and you are killing me. Instead of taking him to hospital they were holding him and preventing him from going through the gate of the ward. The deputy governor said: he will not walk out without a t-shirt. He had gone breathless and developed the panic attack while not wearing his t-shirt. (there was much argumentation and I was trying to keep them away from Ahmed Samir (in the meantime he had dropped to the floor). At the same time Ahmed Zein walked in shouting and tried to assault. I tried to stop him, so they took me, while handcuffed to the administration building where I was made to stand for half an hour by 20 members of the antiriot troops. Then they ordered the soldiers and informers to tie me up in addition to being handcuffed. Ahmed Zein walked in their midst and took the ok fro his seniors. They dropped me to the floor and he kept beating me for a few minutes, while all the time saying \u201cso that you know I can step on you\u201d. They would interrupt and ask me regarding the officer\u2019s allegations that I had attacked him. I insisted that I was not going to talk except in front of the prosecution. As always, they refused to write a complaint. They prevented my family from visiting me. was tied and handcuffed. They stopped the visit claiming it was because of Covid, but really it is so that my family does not see the injuries. I heard him (Ahmed Elwakil and another) saying \u201clet me beat this s.o.b.\u201d so they let him \u201cbut finish before he comes\u201d. The chief prisons\u2019 intelligence officer was on his way. Now, I have injuries on my wrists knees, leg, face, forehead and sides (lacerations and bruises). Everyone was complicit with incidents of violence and previous assaults, so now it amounted to torture, in the middle of prison, in the middle of daylight. Ahmed Samir had difficulty breathing because of the chlorine they sprayed in the ward. His cell was closed (2 m x2.5 m). They refused to open the door so that they could take him to hospital. He continued to feel breathless and got a panic attack. We kept screaming and banging at the door (Hesham Geneina, Hesham Fuad, Omar Mohamed and I) and for half an hour they would not come for him. Omar and I ran to the office of the prison governor asking him to save Ahmed and open the cell. He replied very coldly \u201cRelax Doma, chlorine does not kill\u2026 I was in the hospital and they sprayed it every day and I did not die\u201d I left and went back to Ahmed. Officers and prison personnel had gathered because of the screaming and banging. They finally opened the cell. He was in a bad state. He was crying accusing them of killing him, especially head of intelligence officer Ahmed Zein (because they had said that he had ordered not to open the cell). Samir told him: you are a criminal, decadent and you are killing me. Instead of taking him to hospital they were holding him and preventing him from going through the gate of the ward. The deputy governor said: he will not walk out without a t-shirt. He had gone breathless and developed the panic attack while not wearing his t-shirt. (there was much argumentation and I was trying to keep them away from Ahmed Samir (in the meantime he had dropped to the floor). At the same time Ahmed Zein walked in shouting and tried to assault. I tried to stop him, so they took me, while handcuffed to the administration building where I was made to stand for half an hour by 20 members of the antiriot troops. Then they ordered the soldiers and informers to tie me up in addition to being handcuffed. Ahmed Zein walked in their midst and took the ok fro his seniors. They dropped me to the floor and he kept beating me for a few minutes, while all the time saying \u201cso that you know I can step on you\u201d. They would interrupt and ask me regarding the officer\u2019s allegations that I had attacked him. I insisted that I was not going to talk except in front of the prosecution. As always, they refused to write a complaint. They prevented my family from visiting me. They refused to document my injuries (seen by colleagues judge Hesham Geneina, Dr, Abdel Moneim Abou El Fottouh, Mr. Hesham Fuad, Ahmed Samir, Omar Mohamed). They refused to document Ahmed Samir\u2019s complaint regarding what he had suffered. I am still denied visits as well as denied the right to claim my rights.
