Madiha Abdullah was arrested on February 17, 2019, under case No. 1135 of 2019, the First Shubra El-Khaima, Administrative, registered under No. 306 of 2019. State security charged her with inciting demonstrations, causing panic among metro passengers, and the possession of a sign that said “Murderer, Traitor, Sisi.” The charges were renewed until she obtained a release of precautionary measures in March 2020.
