Sara Mohamed was arrested and forcibly disappeared until her appearance in the prosecution office on August 30, 2019. She was accused of joining a group established in violation to the provisions of the law, whose purpose is to call for the disruption of the provisions of the constitution and laws and to prevent state institutions and public authorities from carrying out their duties. She was also accused of publishing false news about the political and economic situation in the country with the intention of disturbing the peace, within the framework of the goals of the terrorist Brotherhood, and promoting the group’s goals aimed at undermining confidence in the Egyptian state and its institutions, under case No. 1269 of 2019, Supreme State Security . The prosecution ordered her imprisonment under investigations. She obtained a release of precautionary measures on January 21, 2020, and the measures were canceled on March 28, 2020. -Violations to which she was subjected: – enforced disappearance for a period.
