Neima Ali was arbitrarily arrested on September 27, 2019 from Raml Station in Alexandria, amidst the events of September 20, and she was forcibly disappeared until she appeared before the prosecution on October 1, 2019 under case No. 1338 of 2019, Supreme State Security Apparatus. She was charged with participation in a terrorist group in order to achieve its objectives, broadcasting and publishing news false, misuse of social media, and participation in a demonstration without a permit. She was imprisoned under investigations. She was released on parole on 12 October 2019. Violations she was subjected to: enforced disappearance for days.
