Hala Hamoda was arrested on July 4, 2018 in case No 137 for 2018, North of Cairo felonies accused of Joining an illegally formed armed group (ISIS-SP) intent on obstructing justice and preventing state institutions from performing their duties; assaulting personal freedoms and liberties granted to citizens by the law and constitution; targeting elements of the police and army; assaulting public spaces and facilities; involvement with other in using force, violence, and terror in Egypt to disrupt the government; endangering societal peace and interest; endangering the lives and securities of individuals; harming national integrity, societal peace, national security, finance, and public property, which resulted in a number of deaths; facilitating ISIS-SP elements’ execution of terrorist crimes by attracting women, flying them out to North Sii, and sheltering them; smuggling weapons and ammunition, nutrition goods, funds, and cellphones; monitoring establishments, military areas, armed forces officers, churches, foreign communities, and warships.
