Hebat Allah Ibrahim Abdul Raouf Qeshta

On October 30, 2014, security forces arrested Hebat Allah Ibrahim from inside the campus of Mansoura University after she tried to rescue a student from the hands of the security forces after he was dragged and beaten until he bled. As a result of her actions, the security forces pulled her and dragged her to the police armored vehicle. She was presented to the prosecution and investigated in the case No. 14748 for 2014 First Administrative Mansoura, registered under number 3 for 2015 Partial Military Felonies Mansoura. She was charged with belonging to the organization of the Terrorist Brotherhood, carrying out riots and violence, damaging the façade of the administrative building, spreading chaos and provoking terror, and demonstrating and provoking riots. She was imprisoned under investigations. She was sentenced to two years in prison on 3 September 2015 and the sentence was confirmed on October 18, 2015. She was discharged after serving the period of the sentence. – Violations: – She was detained in a small cell meant for nineteen people, but there were actually twenty-six women inside it; in addition, the water was cut off throughout the day, and she was prohibited from eating sometimes for up to three days – the sheriff of the department “Assam al-Shaburi” assaulted her with insults and curses on February 25, 2015. On March 18, 2015, officer Mohammed Salman assaulted her by beating her on the back and shoulder, and cursing her mother and preventing her from peace, saying: “Don’t get close to her. You are like my mother, but not respectful, and your daughter is impolite.” Hiba was not allowed to attend her July 1, 2015 hearing and continued to be detained in the deportation car for more than 3 hours, despite the extreme heat at the time and the lack of ventilation in the deportation car.
