Noha Ali father’s house in Alexandria was raided and she was arrested on January 28, 2018, for defending her detained husband, Mahmoud Abdel Momen. She was charged with the promotion and possession of publications, and denouncing regime organizations under case No. 316 of 2017. She was imprisoned under investigation. She was acquitted on February 27, 2018.
