Hagar Khaled was arrested with others on April 24, 2016 afer their participation in a field event near the central bank on Al Sharif Street. They had with them signs related to the anniversary of the breakup of the Rabiya sit-in. They were taken to the Abdin Section and filed under case No. 3209 for the year 2014 Abdin Directorate. The prosecution ordered her imprisonment. Then she was released on bail of 5,000 pounds on 9/15/14.
