Al-Shaimaa Mohamed and her father were arrested in their home in March 2019. She was taken to an unknown destination where she remained forcibly disappeared for days before appearing before the prosecution on March 17, 2019 under case No. 488 of 2019, Supreme State Security . She was charged with participation in an activity of a terrorist group, using social media sites to promote the group’s ideas, and spreading false news. The prosecution ordered her detention pending investigations. She was released with precautionary measures on September 18, 2019, and the measures were cancelled on March 3, 2020. – Violations she was subjected to: – Enforced disappearance for days.
