Amatullah Saad was arrested on June 26, 2015 from a demonstration in Al Hariya Street and the Al Masla area of Cairo. She was presented to the prosecution under case No. 6274 of 2015, Al Matarya Administration. She was charged with demonstrating without permit, assembly, show of force and signaling violence, firing cartridges at the security forces, and obstructing the road. The prosecution ordered her imprisonment pending investigations. She was released on bail of 3,000 pounds on 10/5/15.
