Mariam Mohamed was arrested on March 18, 2020 from in front of the Bir al-Abd parking lot, along with her daughter, Khuloud Salem, and was taken to an unknown destination. She remained under enforced disappearance until she appeared before the Supreme State Security Prosecution on May 6, 2020 and was interrogated under case No. 810 of 2019. She was remanded in custody and transferred to El Qanater prison. Her detention is still being renewed.
