Security forces arrested Taiser Saad from a microbus she was travelling in towards al-Matariya neighborhood at noon on June 2, 2016. An officer stopped the microbus and asked the niqab-wearers to disembark in the tourist area, and she was one of them. She called her husband to rescue her and then turned off her mobile phone. She remained forcibly hidden until she appeared after about two weeks. There has been no news of her since then.
