Amr Saad was arrested as a minor on January 20, 2015 and detained pending investigation. He was released on July 28, 2015. He was arrested again as a minor on January 19, 2015 after he left from an exam, and was accused of training in arms, belonging to a banned group, overthrowing the regime, and destroying military facilities. He was detained pending investigation and was released on April 15, 2016. He was acquitted in the first case on March 22, 2016.
