A security force raided the house in Nasr City on April 26, 2018 to arrest Ahmed Ismail’s father and when they did not find his father, they arrested him instead. He was taken to an unknown destination where he remained under enforced disappearance for about 3 days. He was then presented to the prosecution under case No. 24308 for the year 2018, misdemeanours of Nasr City. He was charged with joining a terrorist group and demonstrating.
