Ibrahim Reda was arrested as a minor on November 12, 2013 in front of Mansoura University during the passage of a demonstration there. He was accused of burning the gate of Mansoura University, violating the university’s security, demonstrating without a permit and joining a terrorist group under case No. 12571 for 2013, first Mansoura, regsitered under number 450 for 2014, first crimes of Mansoura. He was detained pending investigations. He was sentenced on May 21, 2014 to two years in prison in absentia and discharged after serving his sentence.
