Khaled Mohamed was arbitrarily arrested as a minor from a street in Mansoura on January 25, 2015 and presented before the prosecution on January 27, 2015. He was charged with joining a group founded contrary to the provisions of the law, demonstrating without permit, assembly, show of force, and signaling violence. He was detained pending investigations. On 29 April 2015, he was sentenced to a fine of 50,000 pounds. He was arrested again on January 25, 2016 in front of the preparatory school next to his home by Ghaffar Badawi. He was then turned over to the station and detained pending investigations.
