Mahmoud Adel Hasan was arrested as a minor from Al Arben Square in Suez while returning from a lesson on September 20, 2019 amidst the events of September 20, 2019. He was forcibly disappeared until he appeared before the prosecution under case No. 1338 of 2019 the Supreme State Security . He was charged with participating in a terrorist group in achieving its purposes, broadcasting and spreading false news, abusing social media, and participating in a demonstration without a permit. The prosecution ordered his detainment pending investigations. He was released on October 30, 2019. Violations: enforced disappearance for days – prevented from visits.
