Moaz Ibrahim Hussein

Moaz Ibrahim was arrested as a minor on January 24, 2014 during the events of Sidi Basher, and presented to the prosecution under case No. 1399 of 2014, First Mantaza administration, registered under no. 444 for 2014, child misdemeanours. He was charged with belonging to a group aimed at disrupting the provisions of the law, showing force and signaling violence, possession of firearms, possession of ammunition, possession of explosives, cutting and disruption of conductors, possession of a bladed weapon, and exploitation of religion. The prosecution ordered his detention pending investigations. He was subsequently released and sentenced in absentia on 26 November 2014 to 5 years in prison and a fine of 50,000 pounds.
