Mahmoud Alaa was arrested as a minor with others on January 25, 2014 during the third anniversary of the revolution in Ramses area and Abd El-Khalik Tharwat street. He was investigated under case No. 1292 for 2014, Al-Azbakiya, and detained pending investigations. They were referred to the Children’s Court. Then he and all the minors in the case were released on March 12, 2014.
