Ali Mohamed was arrested as a minor on September 19, 2013, on charges of “Kardasa massacre”, which occurred after the dispersal of a Rabaa and Nahda event. He was charged with killing 13 police officers, attempting to kill others, joining a terrorist group, possessing firearms and bladed weapons, ammunition, rocket-propelled grenades, molotov cocktails, attempting to occupy a police station, and burning and deliberately vandalizing the department and stealing its contents.
