Eslam Hasan was arrested as a minor on November 5, 2014 from a march in Nasr City and was investigated under case No. 51681 for 2014, misdemeanours of Nasr city. He was released the following day on bail of 2,000 pounds and was referred to the Child Prosecution on December 7, 2014. He was arrested again from the house with his brothers on May 26, 2015 amidst the case No. 23658 for the year 2015, first misdemeanours of Nasr City, where they were charged with joining a group founded contrary to the provisions of the law, disrupting production and the interests of citizens, obstructing traffic and trespassing on public and private property, inciting the army and police through social media sites and holding organizational meetings to prepare marches at the Nourarah Al-Rahman Mosque in Zahara al Ashra. He was detained pending investigations. They were granted bail of 10,000 pounds on 24 August 2015.
