Bahaa Mohamed was arrested as a minor on July 3, 2014, from a march in Lebanon Square in Giza and detained pending investigation until he was released on October 12, 2014. He was arrested again from inside the Al-Azhar high school exam committee on June 1, 2016 and was taken to an unknown location. He was charged under case no. 106 of 2016 with burning the railway line. He was held in custody pending investigations and then sentenced to one year in prison on November 30, 2016. He was also sentenced on July 11, 2018 to two years in prison for violations he suffered: – enforced disappearance for days.
