Saeed Badr El-Din was arrested as a minor on March 1, 2019 and forcibly disappeared for about two weeks until he appeared on the State Security Prosecution charged under case No. 488 of 2019, Supreme State Security known as the “Safafir case”. He was charged with participating in a terrorist group to achieve its goals and broadcasting and spreading false news and was detained pending investigation.
