Mohamed Sayed was arrested in his home in Suez and taken to the headquarters of the Security Directorate in Suez, and then to Al-Salam camp. He remained forcibly disappeared until he was brought before the Supreme State Security Prosecution on February 25, 2020 under case No.1530 for 2019, Supreme State Security . He was charged with joining a terrorist group to achieve its goals, receiving funding for terrorist purposes, participating in a criminal agreement to commit a terrorist offence, assembly, and using private accounts on the internet for the purpose of committing a crime punishable by law with the aim of disturbing public order. The Prosecution ordered his detention pending investigation.

– Beatings, kicking and electric shocks, in order to force him to confess his participation in the protests of September 20, 2019.
