Hamza Ali was arbitrarily arrested as a minor from a street in Mansoura on January 25, 2015 and presented before the prosecution on January 27, 2015, charged with joining an illegally formed group, demonstrating without a permit, assembly, and use of force and violence. He was detained pending investigations. On 29 April 2015, he was fined 50,000 pounds. Violations subjected to: – Severely tortured in Met Selsel police station – subjected to medical negligence at Met Selsel police station: swelling of the parotid gland, epileptic seizures, and fainting were his main health issues after all the detainees were forced to stand in the cold rain for two hours. Hamza couldn’t bear this cruelty and he fell unconscious. Officials claimed that he was pretending, and began beating him, which led to the deterioration of his health. They took him to Al-Mansoura first station to be relieved of their responsibility for him.
