Al-Qassam Taha Al-Salhy

Al-Qassam Taha was arrested with his brother next to Azam Al-Kabir mosque in Dakhalia province. They were taken to an unknown place on March 28th, 2014. He disappeared for three days then was presented to the prosecution and detained on remand for assaulting authorities, possessing Molotov and membership in a terrorist group. On December 15th 2014, Mansoura criminal court sentenced him to four-year prison and a 30-thousand L.E. fine. The appeal sentence was upheld on February 12nd, 2015 then it suspended on February 24th, 2016.
He was subject to:
– Enforced disappearance for 3 days and torture before being presented to prosecution on March 31st, 2014.
– Detention with criminal adults.
– Solitary confinement for three months.
– Intransigence in visitations.
