Ahmed Sadik was arrested amidst Al-Fatah Mosque events in Al-Qalyubiyah on August 16th, 2013. He was charged under case No..8615 of 2013 El-Azbakeya station registered under total No. 4163, North Cairo. He was detained on remand and accused of desecrating, damaging and disrupting prayer in Al-Fatah Mosque, murder and attempted murder for destructive purposes, assembly, vandalism, destruction of public and private property, possession of automatic firearms, cartridge, ammunition and explosives, obstruction of traffic and transportation and endangerment of the citizens’ lives. He was sentenced to 5-year aggravated imprisonment on September 18th, 2017.
