Ahmed Mosad was arrested in the exam hall at Al-Gharbia’s Tanta secondary school on May 4th, 2014. He was detained on remand and charged for four cases: No. 407/2014 Tanta First Misdemeanor for police cars arson, No. 363 Tanta Second Administrative for joining a brotherhood movement, No. 642 Tanta Second Misdemeanor for shops arson and No. 2 of 2016 North Cairo, and case of Al-Ragdeyah’s transit point arson attempt. He was released on 5-thousand L.E. bail on October 1st, 2014. On April 21st, 2015, he was sentenced in absentia to fifteen-year prison with damages costs under case No. 407 of 2014, registered under No. 11 of 2015, military felonies. On February 12nd, 2019, he was sentenced to three-year prison in absentia in case No. 2 of 2016 military felonies.
