Osama Mohamed was arrested amidst a demonstration dispersal in Damietta on December 30th 2013 under case No. 6764 of 2014 Damietta Second felonies (record No. 3158 of 2013, administrative, Damietta Second). He was accused of murder, attempted murder, demonstration without permit,destruction of property and possession of weapons. He was also accused under case No. 20817 of 2013 Damietta station felonies, registered under total No. 661 of 2014, Damietta known as Military street events case. He was released on July 3rd, 2014 and was acquitted on April 21st 2015 for the military street events case.
