Anas Al-Shahat Mohamed Mostafa Ali

Anas Al-Shahat and his brothers were arrested when the police raided their house at Dakahleya on August 1st, 2017. They had been forcibly disappeared for a while until he appeared before the prosecution on October 25th, 2017. He was detained under case No. 760 of 2017 Supreme State Security known as “Hasm Terrorist Vanguards”. He was accused of joining an illegally formed group (ISIS). It is noted that the Cairo criminal court (Sixth Chamber North) under the presidency of Khalil Omar Abdel Aziz included 187 defendants, along with Anas, in terrorist lists for five years.
