Anas Ali was arrested in his house at Al-Idwah in Hihya, Al-Sharkia, on April 14th, 2016. He was forcibly disappeared for around two months. Then, he was charged for demonstration on July 20th, 2017. He was released on three-thousand L.E. fine. He was hardly released when he was rotated (charged with new crimes) and detained for arson of a power transformer. It is noted that he was acquitted in one case on April 27th, 2017.
