Khaled Saber was arrested amidst demonstration dispersal around the governorate in Sohag on July 6th, 2013. He was detained on remand for joining an illegally formed group that aims to disrupt the law. He was also accused of attempting to raid on Sohag’s governorate building, disrupting the state’s institutions from functioning, assaulting the citizens’ personal freedoms, and harming the national unit and social peace. Later, he was released. On May 7th, 2015, the judgements varied between 10 years, 3 years prison and acquittal to 7 persons.
