Abd El-Hamid Ibrahim was arrested amidst Ultras Kirdasah case in Giza on January 2nd, 2015. He was detained on remand for illegally founding Ultras Kirdasah, assaulting public and private properties, assaulting the citizen’s personal freedoms. He was also accused of possessing bladed weapons, firearms, incendiary devices and explosives to disturb the public peace, and organizing a demonstration without permit. On September 17th, 2016, the court sentenced him to seven-year prison.
