Abd El-Rahman Mahmoud was arrested in his house with a warrant by Giza security forces on April 7th, 2014. He was detained on remand for the arson of police cars, assaulting security, and stealing weapons. On November 3rd, 2015, he was released on 10-thousand L.E. bail.
