Amr Abd El-Maqsod was arrested in the street at Al Dakahlia by Al Mansoura First Station on December 22nd, 2013. He was detained on remand for beating an officer, stealing his weapon, obstruction of traffic, joining a banned group and insulting Adly Mansour, the acting president, and demanding Morsy’s return. In July 2014, he was sentenced to three-year prison. Later, he appealed and his sentence was reduced to two-year prison. He was subject to:
– Beating While entering Al Mansoura First Station. This act is known as “Al Tashrifa”.
– Maltreatment in Dikirnis Juvenile center by the first lieutenant Mohamed Al Shami. He was dragged many times, beaten, humiliated and electrocuted without mercy.
