Youssef Khaled Hasan Ali

Youssef Khaled was arrested amidst the events of Commander Ibrahim in Alexandria on July 26th, 2013. He was detained on remand under case No. 3186, Al Atareen felonies. He was accused of murder of 9 citizens, terrorizing, injuring 180 others and torturing 16. He was also accused of incitment against the army, police and the current regime. He was sentenced to five-year prison on May 14th, 2014. The sentence was set aside and overruled on November 2nd, 2015. In retrial, he was sentenced to three-year prison on February 5th, 2017. In his detention, he was rotated under “Al Tarhila case” No. 22580 of 2014, Al Atareen felonies in which he was sentenced to two-year prison and two-year probation on March 17th, 2016. He was subject to:
– Enforced transfer to the punitive institution.
– Rotation (charged with new crimes) within prison in which he was sentenced.
