She and her husband Ahmed Samir Mamoun were arrested from their home in Kafr El-Gebel in Haram on March 6, 2023. This was due to the confession of a woman named Heba Mohamed Idris, who was imprisoned in Case No. 1391 of 2023 under State Security jurisdiction. She confessed that they embraced ISIS ideology, which she denied in the investigations. She neither knows nor is aware of anything related to this ideology for about a year and a half. She remained detained in National Security, questioned about Heba, and threatened until she confessed to holding extremist beliefs, which she denied.
