National Security officers raided the house of Mrs. Heba Mohamed Idris and her husband on February 28, 2023, at 1:30 AM, searched their home, and asked the husband about the presence of Russian weapons in the house. They blindfolded and bound them, destroyed the house contents, physically assaulted and tortured the husband, threatened to harm the wife and the unborn child in her eighth month, resulting in her screams and confessions. They were taken to the National Security building in Nasr City. The wife appeared alone before the State Security prosecution on March 1, 2023, and was questioned while her health condition was poor. When asked about the seized items, a flash drive and a mobile phone, she admitted she didn’t know about the flash drive.
