Abd El-Rahman Mohamed was arrested as a minor from the Hanuville area of Al Dakhila after the dispersal of demonstrations on May 2, 2014. He was presented to the prosecution under case No. 4821 of 2014, Al Dakhila administrative, registered under No.19340 for 2014, Al Dakhila misdemeanour and No. 592 for 2014 child misdemeanour. He was charged with joining an illegally formed group, demonstrating without a permit, and assembly. The prosecution ordered his detention pending investigations. On November 26, 2014, the court decided to place him in a foster home.
