Abeer Abdo and others were arrested on April 10, 2020 for filming and posting a video of the “Families of Kafr al Dawar Detainees Association” in Al-Buhayra governorate. In the video, they demanded the quick release of detainees for fear of the outbreak of the Coronavirus. She was subjected to enforced disappearance at the National Security Headquarters in Damanhur until she appeared before the prosecution on April 26, 2020 under case No. 575 of 2020. She is still a prisoner and her detention is still being renewed. – Violations she was subjected to: enforced disappearance for more than two weeks – prevention of visits and other means of communication for months beginning with the Corona crisis.
