Ahmed Arafa was arrested in a street in Al-Buhaira on November 28th, 2014. He was detained on remand for joining an illegally formed group, demonstration without permit, assembly, and obstruction of the agricultural road. On December 24th, 2014, the Court of Kafr Al-Douar Misdemeanor ruled his acquittal. On November 23rd, 2015, he was rearrested, while he was still a minor, after demonstration dispersal at Al-Buhaira. He was detained on remand for demonstration without permit and possession of inciting printouts. On March 9th, 2016, he was sentenced to prison. However, he appealed and was acquitted on April 24th, 2016.
