Ahmed Ibrahim was arrested as a minor on December 22, 2016 and charged under the case No.357 for 2016, military felonies, known in the media as “Sinai State case”. The prosecution ordered his detention pending investigation on August 2, 2017. The Military Prosecutor decided to exclude all minors from the case and re-transfer them to the Public Prosecutor’s Office under the case No.502 for 2015, Supreme State Security . He was released on precautionary measures on April 19, 2018, and the measures were cancelled on 1 December 2019.
