Ahmed Magdy was arrested as a minor from downtown on September 21, 2019 amidst September 20 events. He was forcibly disappeared until he appeared before the prosecution on October 2, 2019 under case No. 1338 of 2019, Supreme State Security . He was charged with participating in a terrorist group to achieve its goals, publishment of false news, abusing social media, and participating in a demonstration without a permit. The prosecution ordered his detention pending investigations. He was released on October 15, 2019. Violations he was subjected to: enforced disappearance for days – prohibited from visits.
