Ahmed Mohamed was arrested in April 2015 in al Fayum and forcibly disappeared for days. Then he appeared under case No. 3055 of 2015, Al Fayum Administration, on charges of possession and use of explosives, and joining a terrorist group. He was detained pending investigation. He was released on bail after nearly a year in detention, but after bail was paid, he was forcibly disappeared before appearing as a defendant in a new protest case. He was again detaine dpending investigation. He was acquitted on March 4, 2018 under case No. 12358 for 2016, Al Fayum Felonies. Violations he was subjected to: enforced disappearance for days – subjected to tourture and electric shock during his disappearance – intransigence in his release, as he was rotated to a new case.
