Ahmed Mohamed, a minor, was arrested with others on January 23, 2014 from the Stadium Street in Shabin al-Kum amidst the demonstrations and clashes that took place with the security forces. In record no. 1002 for 2014, they were charged with joining a group established in violation of the provisions of the law, demonstrating without notification, assembly and assaulting the security forces. They were detained pending investigations.
