Ahmad Morsi’s big brother turned him in to the police on June 28th, 2022 and he was detained. The child Ahmad Morsi appeared in an acting video alongside three others titled (Shakkat Dabbous) on Facebook. The video aims to raise awareness about cases of abduction. However, the journalist Lamis El Hadidi stated in her show that this work constitutes panic and fear for people. She demanded for them to be arrested. He was presented to prosecution on June 29th, 2022 and was imprisoned in case No. 1173 of 2022. He was released with guarantee of his place of residence on November 14th, 2022.
