Ahmed Shaaban was arrested amidst Alexandria university events on September 20th, 2013. He was accused for joining a terrorist group, attempted murder, possession of weapons, firearms and inciting printouts to the police and army, assaulting security, resisting authorities, obstruction of traffic, and destruction of public and private property.
