Ahmed Zakria was arrested as a minor on April 4, 2017 from an apartment in Cairo where he works. He was forcibly disappeared for days before appearing before the prosecution on April 16, 2017 under case No. 123 of 2018, crimes east of Cairo, known in the media as “The Case of Resolution and the Brigade of the Revolution.” He was detained pending investigations and the case is ongoing. – Violations: – subjected to enforced disappearance for more than 10 days – presented to the prosecution without a lawyer – prevented from visiting.
