Al-Shaimaa Al-Sayed was arrested amidst the events of September 20, 2019 and was forcibly disappeared until she appeared before the prosecution on October 4, 2019 under case No. 1413 of 2019, Supreme State Security . She was charged with participating in a terrorist group to achieve its goals, broadcasting and spreading false news, abusing social media, and participating in a demonstration without a permit. She was imprisoned under investigation. She was released on parole on October 30, 2019. Violations she was subjected to: enforced disappearance for days.
