Ali Saeed was arrested as a minor on February 25, 2014 amidst the events of Shubra Al Khaimah Than. He was charged with several counts, including joining a banned group, burning a police station, burning police cars, trespassing on security, and possession of Molotov cocktails under case No. 4392 of 2014, Shubra Al Khayma Section felonies. He was sentenced to 3 years in prison on September 6, 2015.
